Fender Stratocaster Relic Guitar Relives Days of Buddy Holly
Long, weary days on the road hopping between gigs; a thousand lonely hotel rooms; more beers in dark, seedy bars than you can count; punctuated by glorious, adrenaline pumping nights on stage, the crowd on their feet, dancing in the aisles and screaming the lyrics with you -- you'll feel it all when you hold the incredible Fender 1955 Stratocaster Relic 2TSB LTD Electric Guitar in your hands. The expert luthiers at Fender's Custom Shop have recreated the '55 Strat that defined hard rock, giving it the relic finish of a seasoned veteran of countless hard rocking gigs.
Just 100 these stunning limited edition Fender 1955 Stratocaster Relic 2TSB LTD Electric Guitars have been crafted in an exquisite sunburst finish with bone nuts, nickel-chrome hardware and parchment pickguard. The premium ash body, the 1955-shaped medium neck and 9.5-inch radius maple fretboard with medium jumbo frets make this collectors' quality instrument as exciting to play as it is to look at.
When Leo Fender designed the Stratocaster double-cutaway electric guitar in 1954, he created what has been recognized by art and design critics as one of the most classic industrial designs of all time. But Fender wasn't aiming for stage presence alone. His goal was to create a guitar that would be comfortable to play during long playing sessions. The comfort-contoured body with its off-center joint, the perfect neck and the extended top horn make the Fender 1955 Stratocaster Relic 2TSB LTD Electric Guitar unbelievably comfortable to play and balance during long sessions on stage. Coupled with the contrasting full, loud, mellow resonance of the neck pickup and bright, sharp tone of the bridge pickup, the Strat has been the instrument of choice for rock greats from Buddy Holly to John Lennon to Eric Clapton.

Martin Brings Back Fast-Picking 1920s 'Ragpicker's Dream' Acoustic Guitar
In celebration of its 175th year as America's premier guitar maker, C. F. Martin & Company is producing a signature line of the great vintage guitars that put the company on the map. Established in 1833 by Christian Frederick Martin, who came from a long line of German cabinet makers and woodworkers, the company has remained family-owned and is now run by the founder's great-great-great grandson, C.F. "Chris" Martin IV from their headquarters and main factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. One of the world's leading manufacturers of flattop acoustic guitars, Martin developed the technologically superior X-bracing system in the 1850s that vastly improved both acoustic resonance and structural integrity providing the necessary strength for the uniquely American steel-string guitar. At the turn of the 20th Century, Martin was the first to focus on the production of steel-string guitars, building an international reputation for quality.
Bringing back the sounds of the 1920s, the Martin 000-40S Mark Knopfler Ragpicker's Dream Signature Acoustic Guitar sports the long-scale 12-fret body style that many consider to be one of Martin's best sounding designs. Fashioned from premium solid tonewoods, this beautifully made guitar features a top carved from the same Italian alpine spruce favored by legendary violin maker Antonio Stradivari. The back and sides of this elegant acoustic guitar are crafted from beautiful East Indian rosewood; the neck from genuine mahogany and the fingerboard and bridge from African black ebony. Real fossilized ivory is used to craft the nut, saddle, bridge pins and end pin. Washed with an aging toner to create a vintage patina, the Martin 000-40S Mark Knopfler Ragpicker's Dream Signature Acoustic Guitar looks and sounds like the amazing fast-picking historic instruments it emulates.

Fender Custom Shop Creates Distinctive Hybrid Electric Guitar
Combining the lightweight alder body of Fender's famed Telecaster electric guitar with the sleek contours of the legendary Stratocaster, including the popular 1965 C-shaped neck, the Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele Hybrid Closet Classic electric guitar gives you the best of Fender's two most popular guitar models. Unique "Closet Classic" aging means that the guitar has been built as if it were bought new, then played a few times per year before being lovingly put away. The finish appears mildly checked with a few tiny dings, the hardware lightly oxidized and plastic parts gently aged to give the guitar the authentic look of a true vintage instrument.
Musician Jake Discoll, who says the Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele Hybrid Closet Classic compares favorably to guitars he owns that cost $12,000 to $25,000, raves, "Best of my 26 guitars ... I am simply amazed at both looks, sound, everything that you would look for in a high priced guitar."
To add the distinctive, limited edition Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele Hybrid Closet Classic electric guitar to your collection, visit our online store.
